Training on Data Management

National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning Lab) organized the flagship program – Astera Data Integration Bootcamp’21, with collaboration with Astera. Aim of the workshop was to teach contemporary data management skills to the students.

Data drives all critical decisions in today’s business landscape. With this workshop aim was to teach some highly valued data management skills to the participants.

Skills learned:

1. Template-based data extraction method
2. Mining data from unstructured PDF documents
3. Converting unstructured data to structured data for querying and processing
4. Ensuring that the extracted data passes quality checks
5. Mapping data from source to target systems
6. Transforming raw data to make it consistent with the target schema
7. Translating business process into logical executable flows
8. Automating the entire process of data extraction and integration

1-day Data Integration Bootcamp was conducted face to face in RIMMS seminar hall.
