A One-Day Academic Workshop

This workshop brings together researchers and practitioners to explore trustworthy, fair, and safe AI in real-world healthcare settings.

Learn about the latest research outcomes of the Neureader project where we are developing explainable-AI models that can summarise EEG data using AI agents. The objective of this project is to help improve neurological care available to patients in low and middle-income countries (LMICS).

Sessions cover current research problems related to trustworthy AI in healthcare — from neural signal analysis and explainable algorithms to proactive ageing care and real-world governance frameworks. The day includes keynote talks, a panel discussion, and open networking. Speakers include academics, clinicians, and industry professionals working at the cutting edge of healthcare AI.

Organised by Aston University Birmingham, in collaboration with NUST Pakistan. This workshop is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, UK [grant number EP/Y002865/1]
